He graduated from medical school with honours in 2012 from the University of Queensland and subsequently worked across a number of hospitals in Queensland gaining surgical experience in ENT. During this time he completed his Masters in Surgical Sciences by research thesis. MEG have been consulting and operating in Mount Waverley for a number of years, and have a strong commitment to the local General practitioners and community. In order to expand our frequency of visits and provide a more complete service, we have relocated from Waverley Private Hospital consulting suites, 500 metres up Blackburn road, to the newly completed Waverley Specialist Suites at 40 Lemana Crescent, corner Blackburn road, Mount Waverley.

MEG is pleased to welcome back Dr Janitha Jayawardana, after his overseas fellowship. During 2021-2022, Dr Jayawardana underwent further sub-specialty training in Otology, Auditory Implants and Skull Base Surgery with Associate Professor Phillip Bird in New Zealand, at the University of Otago. During his time there, he gained valuable tertiary level skills in treating patients in this field under a high operative load, and published on a number of key
